Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of communications and negligence to my tinterwebbery duties folks. I was down in Cornwall last week bleeding out of my face in the deep blue sea while visiting one of my best friends (who happens to be one of the top 5 chick ballers in the country in my humble opinion).
There isn't a huuuuge amount of news to report although there are a few developments.
New Bunkers
The new bunkers are still on their way, it's all a case of payment as it stands. The more players we have hitting up our sessions, the more sessions we run, the quicker they can land so it's all a case of continuing the big push When they land we'll make sure to run a couple of actual paintball sessions outside of the Reball circuit using a full 5 man field.
Youth Zone Weekly Sessions
We've began to run sessions on behalf of the cracking folks at Carlisle Youth Zone. The sessions seem to be a great success and those who play really are a lovely bunch of kids. It truly is an honour to see these guys and gals rock out and new players being introduced to our sport. The next Youth Zone session for CYZ members will be on Tuesday 26th, 6pm-9pm. We'll look forward to seeing you then.
Halloween special event
Behind the scenes we've been working VERY hard to produce a spectacular, cinematic special event. This October we'll be running our first interactive movie called 'Belagerung von den Toten' or 'Siege of the Dead'.
Based within a purpose built bunker compound a small group of players will make their last stand in Nazi Germany during the final days of WW2. The dead have risen and a small group of special airbourne recon troops must survive the night as wave after wave of undead batter their final line, pursuing their quest for flesh.
Bunker walls are currently being fabricated, painted, detailed and designed to interact with the game perfectly. We've got an industrial smoke machine, special lighting, sound effects which react with the game and players. Props, equipment special characters and an army of actors in full zombie attire will make for a playing experience you'll never forget.
Make no mistake ladies and gentlemen, this truly is the big one. This event will directly interact with the actions of the players, you are in control of the outcome.
This October, the dead will rise and the living will make their last stand, make peace with their God and try to survive 'The siege of the dead'.
More news is to come, more details about the game, images, dates and prices so keep dropping in to the forum to secure your place on the recon squad.
