Hi everyone!!! How are we all this week?
Well we've had some pretty awesome developments this week! Some are still in development stage, some are deals being closed and the biggies are listed below!
The new Safe Zone
I worked right through the night (when you're on a roll, you're on a roll) and the first section is finished. This is the first section of three which will eventually make up the corner safe zone construction. We'll have this section on site on Saturday.
New Bunkers
To quote Professor Farnsworth from Futurama, "Good news everyone!!!" We have a 44 bunker 2010 X-ball field on it's way. It'll be with us in the next 8 weeks. If we can get as many people through the doors now, get some dedicated team sessions etc we'll actually be able to have it with us even sooner as it's all a matter of payment.
The field is manufactured by Mighty Sports in the U.S. who have produced bunkers for the likes of NPPL, JT, CXBL, XPSL, Rockstar and Bawls to name but a few. These a tough bunkers, built to last and perfect for our needs.
The following depicts a rough outline of which bunkers to expect...
With these new additions, every week is going to be a different type of layout with snakes, Big X, temples, cakes, teabags etc you can expect some seriously wicked balling. We'll play with roughly 20 bunkers a week give or take so as to not flood the court but also offer plenty of lanes and deadground to make those cheeky moves. It's going to be fantastic. So by all means, if you'd like an additional private session for your team, friends or family by all means drop me a line folks, all revenue is going directly into getting these to us ASAP! Once these land, the next step is 20,000 reballs.
Spring highlights video... UPDATE
The GoPro HD footage is absolutely incredible. I cannot big it up enough. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I stopped a random frame and it looked like a photograph. As it stands I'm juggling primary duties and cutting the new Spring highlights video which is going to offer a nifty montage of you guys in action. I'm still going to keep shooting in the mean time however as the footage in HD makes a world of difference and I know you guys are going to love it. Once the new bunkers arrive we are going to start compiling footage for a Carlisle Reball DVD which is going to range from you guys tearing up incredible moves to novice players beginning with rental equipment and starting their journey. It'll also document you guys competing in tournaments, a special 3D feature and interviews so more to come guys and gals.
New location
In the coming months we'll begin sessions at Carlisle Youth Zones sports hall attached to Richard Rose Central Academy in Carlisle city centre. These sessions will operate on Sundays 10-2 meaning you have most of your day after wards to either enjoy of rest after a hard balling session!
The facilities really are top notch. It's very clean and the hardwood flooring is ideal for sliding. I'm really looking forward to it.
Youth Zone Weekly Sessions
Annnnnnnd finally guys and gals, we're very proud to announce we'll be running sessions every week as of next week for Carlisle Youth Zone. These guys are fantastic. They are doing so much for local youths and their facilities are absolutely first class. I'm really proud to be working with them. We're going to be running sessions weekly, every Tuesday evening from 6.30- 9.00 for their senior club members so if you're already a member by all means pop down and rock out with us folks! If you happen to be between 13-21 pay the guys at Carlisle Youth Zone a visit, memberships are stupidly cheap and there is so much on offer as well as our ugly mugs!
Items for sale
In the coming weeks I'm going to start listing items for sale. From CP Regs, Halo Warrior Hybrid Shells to speedfeeds and other random bits. These are all brand new (unless stated otherwise) and all profit goes directly into the bunker fund.
Finally, a huge shout out to you all. You rock! I'm really looking forward to Saturday, we have a 4500 fill, I've fixed the fill rig (completely replacing the female adapter) so we're all ready to rock and we can have a jolly good chin wag and a catch up with you all then!

Absolutely cracking setup and the people I'm buying them from are a lovely couple so it's all really positive. Will be even more so when they are completely paid for and in our possession.
