Hi everyone, how are you guys? Everyone all cool? What's been happening in your world?
What a mad week it's been so far, it seems to have few by. There has been a couple of developments but nothing too huge to report. We'll, I say that but my wallet is considerably lighter.
The new Safe Zone
The safe zone is coming together like a charm! Wuuuup wuuuup! I worked on all the plans at the start of the week, designing a fully versatile system which can be added to and/or altered to form any shape which suites. We can have a long strip down one side of the court or a small block if we so wished. As it stands the initial design is a corner wedge which means we can pull the back right bunker much further back. I'm going to net it all tomorrow so we can try out a smaller prototype on Saturday using half of the pieces of the final design.
The Website
I'm tidying up the last page of the site while Jonny is in touch with a friend to convert and upload to the net so we should have a website very soon.
15 minutes of fame
I'm working on the video at the moment folks! I know a couple of the other lads are working on edits themselves which is awesome! I canne' wait to see what people come up with. I'll also continue to do what I'm doing and we'll have plenty of promos to be proud of.
Jonny may have just bought a new camera...
As you all know I'm working on purchasing a complete 3D video rig. The rig is made up of 4 individual parts and I've just bought the first two parts! It's like Christmas! Before putting the complete system together I can actually use the first camera as a full 1080p 60fps camera
system annnnnnnnnnnnd it's gonna be with us for Saturday!!! This means that come this Saturday (18th) we're gonna be shooting some seriously high quality, high definition footage. So anyone who fancies getting in on the action you're more than welcome to rock out with us.
Saturday 18th
Talking of this Saturday. Originally we were going to run a session for novice players new to the game however 6 of the original players I had lined up have since dropped out meaning we now have an open slot. So after talking to the scooby gang we're going to use the slot as an open session for anyone who wants to rock out with us and play some ball. It's going to be a light hearted session with not many players. A great opportunity to shoot video, get a lot of gun time playing intimate 1v1's, 2v2's and kick back.
The following week is back to the regular session with the usual tournament players from all three teams coming together under one roof as always, but if you happen to have a little bit of disposable income and/or want to play a lot of ball without a large group present you're more than welcome. Just drop me a holla below, via text or call on 07963896236 or via PM here or on Facebook.
The project
The project is starting to take shape nicely. A large amount of equipment, relevent items and plans and landing and emerging. As soon as the website goes online you'll be able to catch your first glimpse of what is going to be EPIC
And finally
I just want to say a big thank you to those who played on the weekend. I personally had great fun (crawling off the break) and I'd like to think you guys enkpyed yourselves too. I cannot stress to you how much it's you guys who are making these sessions what they are. Thanks to you guys we have built an incredible community of players and we're playing regular, cheap paintball. Thanks guys.
Take care and if I don't see you on this weekend, hopefully I'll catch you on the following tournament players session on the 25th!
