Guy's you might want to check the inside bore of your barrels as i just found a fair bit of scoring on the inside of my shaft4 .685 bore back section not sure if it's directly a cause of shooting Reballs but since i have not yet shot paintballs with it yet i'll presume shooting reballs through tighter fitting small bore barrels are the main cause of it.
Haven't noticed any wear on my .689 & .693 which i haven't shot any reballs through only paintballs
Luckily i managed to polish out most of it to be hardly noticeable but you may want to use a spare/cheap barrel or a bigger bore barrel like a .693/.695 etc.. to help prevent kerchuffing your best barrels.

Cheers for the heads up! I'll pack a bigger bore to be on the safe side.

i use .693 or .695 usualy, in that small distance and the fact that you dont need to worry about paint fees then quantity far outweighs quality lol

I only shoot the .685 back section due to the Geo2's poor efficiency once we struggle to get less than 1200psi into our bottles.
So i think i'll use my .693 lucky barrel on saturday.

Oh man, sounds nasty Mike. Sorry to hear that mate. A massive cheers for the heads up though, I'll be sure to pass the word to anyone playing on Saturday! I gotta admit, I've only ever used the .93 for reballs. Until recently, I've always used a stainless steel freak back set (at the mercy of an extra few grams) which tend to take all the punishment you can throw at them without any hassle. That said, a few months back I found an old .93 insert in an old kit box so like Jamie I'm rocking out the 93 without any trouble. It doesn't play too bad on accuracy either We'll have a look at your Shocker this week JD, I reckon if we tinker a wee bit with the board settings and balance the input pressure she'll shoot like an angel (metaphorically, not literally WDP styley)!

Well i have just run a redz stick polishing thingy through it and the barrel looks ok now !!!!! must have just been rubber residue of the reballs as i can't see any scratches now,not even any light marks.

That's great news!!! Awww I'm dead pleased. Obviously just rub from the reballs then! WIN! I posted up on the Reball main news section what you have found and just offered a word of caution for people to use a slightly larger bore, either way it's probably been handy for that if nothing else All is well with the cosmos!

At least it covers you in the event of somebody wanting an argument about "how reballs ruined my life and i want a refund etc"
