The new map pack is out today. Had I been able to find my copy of Black-ops I'd let you guys know what it's like but alas, I haven't a clue where it is. I'm sure a bit of a search will come up successful. If this is the case the SZ lads and lasses can have a shot at it tonight when the team meets.
The map pack includes 4 new multiplayer maps (which should be awesome on 4vs8 bot matches) and a 5th map of which I'm pretty excited about.
Call of the dead departs from the conventional Nazi Zombies story line and takes it back to what the original 4 levels were, less story, more action. Hold up points, a selection of hefty bullet slingers and brand new zombies all make an appearance. Make no mistake, this is a brand new chapter. Re-imagined formats require new characters and this time we are offered some famous figures of horror!!! Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo make up the new batch of zombie killers. They look more like a hybrid group of Left4Dead characters and the traditional Nazi Zombie warriors. All have their individual weapons and obvious defining look.
The Zombies are smart. Ziplines? The can do that. Fast? Nooo problem. They are lead by another defining figure in horror and the most fitting for such a roll... the almighty George Romero AKA the man who redefined cinema history and literally showed the world for the first time what zombies should look like. He is a giant zombie boss with a damaged studio light he uses as a hammer.
All of this coupled with new wonder weapons (the ray gun is back) which apparently de-zombify zombies makes for a return to pace for the Nazi Zombie series.
Pending I can get my hands on a copy of Black Ops before tonight, expect the unusual suspects of SZ to report with their POV's.
