Hey people. I've found free wifi! It's like gold dust over here. Were both having an amazing time so far. Done quite a bit of surfing and going to rent boards again tomorrow. Were nearly half way up the east coast atm in a spot called surfers paradise! It's amazing. Well hot and me and Anna have both burnt many times!!
Anyways hope all is good with you lot. I'm not sure when I'll next get Internet so will just play it by ear. Lots of love from us both x

Awww so glad to hear you guys are okay!!! How amazing is Surfers Paradise? Actually scratch that, the Gold coast in general is the most amazing place on the planet! From the photos have you guys been to the split and Sea World?

Please, please for the love of all that is holy, before you head up to Brisbane head over to Australia Zoo!!! It is amazing!!!

Yep jonny weve done all the things you recommended. Did byron bay for 3 days before we hit surfers paradise (i was not expecting paradise to have so many skyscrapers right on the beach!!)
Then we did stevo's zoo the day before yesterday from brisbane! and today we've hired out a fishing boat and were going to tootle along the noosa river and catch us some sharks!

Then later on in the week its off to fraser island for some much needed 4x4 racing on the dunes. cant wait.

Wer're missing everyone aswell, but were slowly getting tanned. its just so hot i burn pretty much whenever my skin see's the sun! not cool.

Id love to do the 4x4 dune racing, i did cross desert quad biking in egypt and it was awesome if you just ignored the instructors lol

Dont get too burnt, paintball will be a bit harsh when you return

Awww you guys have totally got it planned perfectly!!! So pleased for you! We stayed with Kirstys cousin and her family in Noosa for a couple of weeks. It's the most gorgeous wee town. Oh and Fraser Island is amazing. Unfortunately we couldn't get over there at the time but it's on my list of things to do next visit. You'll have to let me know how it goes

I also did a bad thing yesterday and let anna buy me a personalized didgeridoo!! it looks fookin sweet! I'll give you all a performance when i get back!

Cant wait to get back balling again! although it will be quite sore if im burnt. Hopefully the freezing weather of NZ should sort that out though!

Fraser island was amazing. we got hassled by dingos, saw a shark and saw and eagle pluck a fish out the see! proper david attenbourough stuff!!

Going sailing round the whitsundays this afternoon for 3 days then slowly heading up to cairns for a 5 day diving course on the great barrier reef which gets us PADI qualified!! and we get to do a night dive on the reef.....scary!!

Also booked most our NZ stuff for next month. Were on the Kiwi bus and weve both booked a skydive, white water rafting, sailing and the glacier walk in frans joseph. And ive also got the Nevis Bungee booked (134m) which sounds well scary but now ive booked it i have to do it!!!!!

We do miss having you ballin' to be fair, the team deffinatly has a hole in it, o well, 2 and a bit more months to go!

We wont be working too hard, Bank holiday friday and monday this weekend and next weekend, but either way im off for the next 11 after today so im happy as a pig in poo!

I didnt manage to catch a boomerrang JD! I was soooo close. I got it all the way round but fucked up the catching bit and it went between my hands.

The group leader offered a free beer to the first two people to catch one! only 2 people did but none of our attempts were elegant. we basically threw it anywhere then sprinted after it!! i imagine thats how the abbo's do it too!!

Whitsundays was INCREDIBLE! we were on a proper party boat which was very drunken and naked! snorkelling was ace and a well nice bunch of people. I'll try get some photos up next time I get wifi on my phone. On the second night our boat was anchored up and two dolphins came and swam around the boat all night playing with each other and chasing fish and stuff, was well cool. then to top it off 7 reef sharks joined the party! so ive officially seen shark infested waters! and we had well good fun jumping into it off the boat (not when the sharks were there!)

and before you ask scotty, shotguns werent allowed on the boat so I didnt kill anything!

Ive only ever caught one once, and even that was fluke, all of the throws just went straight like i was trowing a frisby and the one that actualy came back i caught, not sure how!

I could sometimes get it to go round but most the time the wind just caught it and t was away!! I wasn't naked on the boat. Just 4 Irish guys and a girl! Fun fun

We've also been hussling the bar games over here. Our group won a 100 dollar bar tab for being the first girl and first boy in a 50 metre sprit along the beach then last night I won twenty dollars and free Internet and a hat in a ping pong competition! Sweet lol. Pure luck though x
